DryZone Damp Proofing

Fixing Rising Damp in an old home

Bunbury

IMG_5150.jpeg

We recently completed a damp proofing job in Bunbury.

The existing lime render, white set and skirting were removed to expose where the damp course had failed.

DryZone being injected

The Dry Zone cream is injected into the mortar joints at 120mm centres, forming a chemical damp proof barrier to prevent moisture rising in the brickwork where there is no damp proof course or where an existing damp proof course has failed.

DryZone injections to this wall have been completed

The render was removed up to approx. 1m high so that when the render was reinstated, we can use a waterproofing additive in the mix to help prevent any moisture ingress into the internal walls as an extra guarantee.

Once the injections and rendering was completed, the skirting was also reinstated.
