DryRod Damp Proofing

Retrofit damp course with DryRod

DryRod Installation (6).jpeg

We have recently completed a job where the DryRod damp proofing system was injected into the external leaf of a double brick home.

Efflorescence appearing on the walls

Efflorescence appearing on the walls

The home was showing signs of efflorescence, which is caused by salts being brought to the surface of the render from the presence of moisture in the walls.

Holes were drilled at 120mm centres into the lowest course before being filled with the DryRod product, this forms a retrofit damp course to the home and should prevent any further moisture ingress into the brickwork or render.

Aerostone mouldings will be installed around the perimeter of the home to cover the injection points.
